The morning
assembly of Class V-Tulip was conducted on the theme "Friendship"
with great enthusiasm and warmth. The program was confidently anchored by
Samridhhi Pandey, who guided the assembly smoothly.
The assembly began with the Morning Prayer, led by Sidya, followed by the St.
Joseph’s Prayer, recited by Shanvi Pandey, creating a peaceful and prayerful
atmosphere. This was followed by the National Pledge, administered by Rishi
Raman, reminding everyone of their responsibilities as citizens.
The Thought for the Day was presented by Akshat Tiwari, emphasizing the true
value of friendship in our daily lives.
A creative presentation was performed by the students, where they represented
the full form of the word "FRIENDSHIP," each child holding a letter
and explaining its beautiful meaning. This was followed by a meaningful group
recitation by the class, spreading a strong message of love, trust, and
togetherness. A special moment of the assembly was a soulful poem recited by
Zara, a student of Class V-Tulip, which was self-composed and beautifully
expressed the essence of friendship:
“Every
beginning has an end, but that end is a new beginning. Life passes by so
quickly, you don't even realize it."
The morning
assembly was also the right moment to honor someone’s hard work, devotion, and
faithfulness. It was time to honor one of the important pillars of SJS, Mr.
Abdul Majid, gunner and security head of the school, who was bid 'au revoir'
with heartfelt good wishes. Principal Rev. Fr. Melwin Wilson D’Souza, on behalf
of the entire SJS family, acknowledged his dedication and sincerity with a
token of gratitude and wished him and his family the best of luck in the
future. Sr. Tracy presented him with a bouquet of flowers.
In the poetic words of Ma'am Arti Mishra
(Asst. Teacher, Physics):
“With a heavy heart, we bid a warm goodbye,
To the man who stood tall with watchful eyes.
Who guarded our kids, our school, and our ties.
Through morning bells, to the closing doors,
Your duty spoke in the silent roars.
It's not an end;
We pray for you,
A brand new chapter starts anew,
With hope ahead and courage true.
May every path shine bright for you.”
