“God forgive those who sin
against us!”
November
29, 2025:
The morning assembly was conducted by Class 5-Orchid on the topic of 'Forgiveness.'
Siddharth and Sneha led the prayer
and the pledge, while the Thought for the Day
was presented by Tejas.
The eloquent speech by the anchor,
Kritika, captivated everyone's attention. A soulful poem on the topic was
recited by Drishti, Pragya, Avi, Akshat, and Anandita. A speech in Hindi on the
same topic was also applauded by all.
The class teacher, Mrs. Alpana
Ojha, delivered a thoughtful speech on 'Forgiveness,'
stating that the act of forgiving is like a bridge between two people, and we
must imbibe this quality to be a good human being. The well-deserved assembly
was appreciated by the principal, Rev. Fr. Melwin Wilson D’Souza, who, in his
speech, expressed that the word and quality of forgiveness should be embraced
as a 'life lesson.'
He added that one should forgive
everyone, whether they wronged us intentionally or unintentionally. We should
be the first to say 'SORRY,'
even if we are not at fault, and do so before it is too late. Life is short and
unpredictable. Forgiveness will make all of us feel lighter and happier.
To forgive is a holy trait and a
blessed quality for those who are close to humanity and the Almighty.
