Description:
Keeping the spirit of loving Mother Earth and the tradition of celebration of the day alive the festival was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm of the students and the teachers.
The celebration started with the morning assembly with motto to spread massive awareness amongst the students, teachers and the parents about the alarming situation of the environment and the need to save trees.
The members of the environment club along with the students of class- IV presented a wonderful, meaningful and heart wrenching assembly which touched each and every heart, the assembly included beautiful song, skit and dance performance- the lyrics of whose song said “ Na Kanto Mujhe, Bada Dukhta Hai”.
Our Principal, Rev Fr. Jacob Bona D’Souza in his address made the students remind their promise of last year to plant a tree and nurturing it, he also appealed to practice the same activity this year which would lead to a happy and healthy environment for all of us in the coming years. He also named the festival ‘Van Mahotsav’ as the festival of life. The assembly was concluded with the School Anthem.
